The State Flower of Washington! This evergreen shrub produces large, stunning blooms in various shades of pink. The species is found in fairly dry forests and edges. Seeds require light to germinate, so should be covered very thinly, if at all. Glass or plastic covering may aid germination, which is often quite slow.
