Orange Trumpet Honeysuckle (Lonicera ciliosa)

3.50

This vine is a longtime favorite of mine, one of the first to catch my eye when I was first introduced to native plants. Tubular orange flowers are backed by a fused pair of leaves. Flowers will give way to a cluster of red berries. It will trail along the ground unless given something to climb. Highly attractive to pollinators. Grows in forests, thickets, streambanks and woods edges from sea level to 5500 ft. Sow in fall or refrigerate 90 days before sowing.
