Nodding Onion (Allium cernuum)
Nodding Onion (Allium cernuum)
from 3.50
A striking wild onion with pink blossoms that characteristically nod over clumps of slender foliage. Found often on rocky or sandy slopes or dry meadows. It likes good drainage and full sun, but we’ve found it to be widely applicable, forming lush clumps fairly quickly. Plant in fall for cold stratification, or place in moist medium and refrigerate for at least thirty days, preferably longer.
